You may not believe this but there still are lots of computer users that have no anti-virus program installed because they erroneously think that they will be spared from infection. Some don’t even know what a computer virus is!

But when I boot the computer, I am often faced with the same problem; the virus has made some changes to the system restrictions in order to hide itself from easy detection. These restrictions are most often: show hidden files not working, disabled task manager, disabled firewall and the list goes on. Of course a system reinstall will solve the problems but that is a painstakingly long process. This is where Re-Enable can help.

Re-Enable is a free portable tool for Windows developed by Tangomouse that enables Task Manager, Registry(Regedit), Run Command, CMD Dialog, Folder Options, and System Restore Configuration when disabled by a virus.

With Re-Enable, it is very easy to enable back the options, simply select the options that you want to re-enable and hit Enable button. That’s all.

Download Re-Enable
